TOCOM ends lower on high stockpiles, lacklustre demand
BEIJING (Aug 3): Benchmark Tokyo rubber futures ended lower on Friday tracking losses in the Shanghai market, while increased stockpiles and slow demand weighed on prices.
Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) futures, which set the tone for rubber prices in Southeast Asia, have been under pressure this week, as inventories in China increased and operation rate at tyre factories dropped during the hot weather.
“Rubber fundamentals are quite weak. Inventories in bonded area in Qingdao and at Shanghai Futures Exchange are increasing. The operation rate at factories is declining due to the hot weather and sales of heavy trucks are falling too,” said Zhao Wenting, analyst, Dongwu Futures.
The Tokyo Commodity Exchange rubber contract for January delivery finished 0.7 yen (US$0.0063) lower at 168.3 yen per kg. For the week, TOCOM rubber futures rose 0.3 yen.
The most-active rubber contract on the Shanghai futures exchange for September delivery dropped 50 yuan (US$7.28) to finish at 10,155 yuan per tonne.
The front-month rubber contract on Singapore’s SICOM exchange for September delivery last traded at 130.9 US cents per kg, down 0.6 cent.
മുംെബെ: വിപണികളില് കാള- കരടി പോരാട്ടം മുറുകുന്നു. തുടര്ച്ചയായ ബുള് തരംഗത്തിനു ധനനയത്തിലൂടെയാണ് കരടി തടയിട്ടത്. വില്പന സമ്മര്ദത്തില് ആടിയുലഞ്ഞ സൂചികകള് വ്യാപാരാവസാനത്തോടെ കനത്ത നഷ്ടത്തിലേക്കു വഴുതിവീണു. സെന്സെക്സ് 356.46 പോയിന്റ് നഷ്ടത്തില് 37,165.16ലും നിഫ്റ്റി 101.50 പോയിന്റ് താഴ്ന്ന് 11,244.70ലുമാണ് വ്യാപാരം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചത്. ബി.എസ്.ഇയിലെ 1,332 കമ്പനികളുടെ ഓഹരികള് നേട്ടത്തിലും 1,318 ഓഹരികള് നഷ്ടത്തിലുമായിരുന്നു.
നിരക്കു വര്ധന ബാങ്കിങ്, സാമ്പത്തികം, ഓട്ടോ വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലെ ഓഹരികളെയാണ് പ്രധാനമായും ബാധിച്ചത്. െചെന- അമേരിക്ക വ്യാപാരത്തര്ക്കം രൂക്ഷമായതാണ് രാജ്യാന്തര വിപണികളെ പ്രതികൂലമാക്കിയത്. വ്യാപാരയുദ്ധം കറന്സി യുദ്ധത്തിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്നതായി ആര്.ബി.ഐ. മുന്നറിയിപ്പു നല്കുയതും നിക്ഷേപകരെ ആശയക്കുഴപ്പത്തിലാക്കി.
മാര്ച്ച് 23നു ശേഷമുള്ള ദിവസത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ആഘാതമാണ് സൂചികകള് ഇന്നലെ നേരിട്ടത്. വിപണികള് കലുഷിതമായതോടെ വിദേശനിക്ഷേപകരും പിന്വലിഞ്ഞു. 95.94 കോടി രൂപയുടെ ഓഹരികള് വിദേശനിക്ഷേപകര് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം െകെയൊഴിഞ്ഞതായി കണക്കുകള് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. പ്രാദേശിക നിക്ഷേപകരും 562.33 കോടി രൂപയുടെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങള് െകെയൊഴിഞ്ഞു.
യു.എസ്. ഫെഡ് റിസര്വ് നിരക്കുകള് തുടര്ന്നത് നിക്ഷേപകര്ക്കു നേരിയ ആശ്വാസമായി. രാജ്യാന്തര വിപണിയില് ഉല്പ്പാദനം വര്ധിക്കുന്നതോടെ എണ്ണവില കുറയുന്നതും കോര്പ്പറേറ്റ് കമ്പനികള് മുന്നേറ്റം തുടരുന്നതും വിപണികളുടെ തുടര്ന്നുള്ള വീഴചയ്ക്കു തടസമാകുമെന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം.
ഭാരതി എയര്ടെല്, മാരുതി സുസുകി, റിലയന്സ്, വേദാന്ത, ടെക് മഹീന്ദ്ര, ടാറ്റ മോട്ടോഴ്സ്, ഏഷ്യന് പെയിന്റ്സ് തുടങ്ങിയ ഓഹരികളാണ് പ്രധാനമായും നഷ്ടത്തിലായത്. ലുപിന്, ഡോ.റെഡ്ഡീസ് ലാബ്, പവര് ഗ്രിഡ്, സണ് ഫാര്മ, ഹിന്ദുസ്ഥാന് യുണിലിവര്, വിപ്രോ, ആക്സിസ് ബാങ്ക് തുടങ്ങിയ ഓഹരികള് നേട്ടമുണ്ടാക്കി.
ബോര്ഡര് വിപണികളായ മിഡ്ക്യാപ് 0.09 ശതമാനവും സ്മോള്ക്യാപ് 0.07 ശതമാനവും മുന്നേറി. യൂറോപ്യന് വിപണി നഷ്ടങ്ങളുടെ വക്കിലാണ്. ബാങ്ക് ഓഫ് ഇംഗ്ലണ്ട് ധനനയം പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കാനിരിക്കുന്നതാണ് കാരണം.
