Spot rubber improved on Tuesday. RSS-4 finished firm at ₹132 (131.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade was quoted steady at ₹131.50 by the Rubber Board. The market made gains in most counters on acute short supplies. RSS-4 strengthened at its August futures to ₹133.80 (133.43) and September to ₹132.01 (131.38) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 132 (131.50); RSS-5: 130 (129.50); ISNR 20: 131 (131) and Latex (60% drc): 89 (87.50).
