 ആർ.എസ്.എസ് – 4ന് വില ₹120ലേക്കും 5ന് വില ₹115ലേക്കും ഇടിഞ്ഞു  ഇത് സമീപകാലത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ വിലത്തകർച്ച കോട്ടയം: അത്ഭുതങ്ങളുണ്ടായില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഇനിയൊരു തിരിച്ചുകയറ്റം അസാദ്ധ്യമെന്ന കണക്കേ, ആഭ്യന്തര റബർവില തകർന്നടിയുന്നു. ഉത്പാദനം തീരെക്കുറഞ്ഞിട്ടും ഡിമാൻഡ് ഇല്ലാത്തതാണ് തിരിച്ചടിയാകുന്നത്. അവധിവില കാര്യമായി ഉയരാത്തതും റബറിനെ തളർത്തുന്നു. കിലോയ്ക്ക് 129 രൂപയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ആർ.എസ്.എസ് നാലാം ഗ്രേഡിന് വില 120 രൂപയിലേക്കും 125 രൂപയിൽ നിന്ന് അഞ്ചാം ഗ്രേഡ് വില 115 രൂപയിലേക്കും കൂപ്പുകുത്തി. സമീപകാലത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ വിലത്തകർച്ചയാണിത്. തരംതിരിക്കാത്തതിന് വില 106 രൂപയായും ഒട്ടുപാൽ വില 71 രൂപയിലേക്കും ഇടിഞ്ഞു.

ഡിമാൻഡ് കുറഞ്ഞതിനാൽ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വിലയും നിർജീവമായി തുടരുകയാണ്. ചൈനയിൽ വില കിലോയ്ക്ക് 125 രൂപയാണ്. എന്നാൽ, ടോക്കിയോയിൽ 115 രൂപയിലും ബാങ്കോക്കിൽ 110 രൂപയിലുമായിരുന്നു കച്ചവടം.

റബറിന് പ്രത്യേകമായി ഒരു നയം ആവശ്യമില്ലെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ എൻ.ഡി.എ സർക്കാർ, ഇപ്പോഴിതാ റബർ നയം പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കാനുള്ള ഒരുക്കത്തിൽ. ഇതിനു മുന്നോടിയായി ഫെബ്രുവരി 11ന് കോട്ടയത്ത് കർഷകരുടെയും വ്യവസായികളുടെയും യോഗം വിളിച്ചു ചേർത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ, രണ്ടുവട്ടം വേണ്ടെന്നുവച്ച റബർനയം ഇപ്പോൾ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങുന്നത് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് മുന്നിൽക്കണ്ടുള്ള പൊടിയിടൽ മാത്രമാണെന്ന ആശങ്ക കർഷകർക്കുണ്ട്.

The domestic rubber prices have declined over 7% in the previous one month and is currently trading at Rs 150/kg.
